We welcome you to Camino Alto Villa. This is a private home made available on a limited rental basis to persons wanting to enjoy the natural countryside just outside the truly historic city of Cartagena with its new renaissance of shops, arts and music. We have developed the Camino Alto over 30 years because we enjoy the birds, always fresh and in-season fruit drinks, flowers, neighbors, food and fauna. Every sunrise over the hills and sunset over the Caribbean offer different and spectacular photographic views from the elevated balconies. The forested head of the Matute Springs with howler monkeys and wonderful bird species and the Botanical Gardens are within a 20-30 minute hike from our doorstep. Some of the best views are from the high balconies that have a 160-degree view over new and old forest.
NOTE: Room rates vary depending on guest preference
The property is hilly. There are 2 steps into Casa Principal where the 2 bedrooms are located and the kitchen. There are 5 steps into Casa Mia main floor guest room and kitchen and then 10 to a second level bedroom
